Examine before you start with SEO
We get your site in the key Search Engines An often heared marketing phrase. Nice but on which keywords and at what costs? What will happen if a visitor finally gets to my site, will it lead to any conversion? You can do it yourself and often even better It is your business, so you should know on which keywords people would search for a business like yours on Google or Yahoo. Make a list of them. Next visit Google and look for the keyword suggestion tool. This will extend your list. Also ask friends, family and even clients to complete the list. After that you should start an adword campaign (or Yahoo Search Marketing if you please) using all the keywords. Yes, it will cost you money, but if you are lucky it will also lead to new sales or new contacts. After a few months (normally six months will provide you with solid data) you will know which keywords are used most often and if you activated the conversion function in Adwords you will also know which keywords have the highest conversion rate (conversion could be sales, a filled webform, ...). Now you know which keywords actually work for you, so your SEO work is based on good keywords. I hope this will work for you all!

A tip to supplement your advice (which is very useful to start with). There is a way to maximise the profits from Adwords, which I discovered a while ago. If you use Adwords anyway, it is definitely worth following - it will pay for all your PPC advertising and if used wisely, will profit you more than the site visitors you receive from the advertising. Have a look here to see how to get your PPC advertising free from now on (I personally just love this advice - so simple and yet so powerful ).
CONTRIBUTOR'S REPLY
I finished reading the blog and I partially agree and partially disagree. I bought the e-book myself and I think it's worth every cent I spent on it. It is scammy as regards the title - get google ads free. Of course you don't get the ads free. But - it is very useful for someone who uses Adwords anyway. Why not take the advice and fund your Adwords? You will make even with about 50 clicks, if you follow the advice. Not bad, is it? That's all I wanted to suggest - that an existing Adwords user can really benefit from this. Maybe I'll write an e-book on this some day - as suggested in the blog
